Start out small, pick fights with children or disabled’s. In time you will naturally obtain more advanced fighting skills & can move up in competition to women & retards. Rinse & repeat.

See if you can find a former fighter/trainer who wouldn't mind training a few people in an apartment gym, home garage or park or something. It's how I learned Muay Thai, I never trained at an actual kickboxing gym. I trained with a former fighter who just asked for $10 for a session in his apartment gym, really cheap way to train and it's real, applicable skills.

I got lucky because a friend knew the guy. In your case, I can only recommend asking around.
Back off, Warchild.

Seriously.

At least here in Norway, universities often have clubs and teams anyone can join for a very, very low fee compared to regular private clubs. Obviously in the US that would probably equate to community college.

If something like that isn't available, I would think wrestling and Judo would be considerably cheaper than BJJ. I'm not sure what the cost of boxing/muay thai/kickboxing is.

If we assume you're not joining any club at all, I think the following would be a good way to become a really skilled fighter:

- Garage gym with mats, a bag and basic equipment. Find free BJJ / grappling tutorials on youtube or torrent paid ones.
- You and one or more friend(s) practice against each other reviewing techniques, do drills and spar.
390 back squat
285 bench press
500 deadlift (I don't DL anymore)
