if they change their minds again its a lose lose for them. it shows that they have no faith in their candidates and they will lose all the momentum that they currently have with the Harris honeymoon.

its strategic. They are trying to show how bad she really is. If they drop her polls down to Biden levels and the DNC changes candidates again its a win (at least hypothetically) for the right.
