Say for 1000sqft for a single person.

probably around 3-4k in a big city

bragging about making 120k is meaningless if your rent is around half of your net income and a large cheese pizza costs 30 dollars near you

You can Google "average rent in USA" or even "average rent in <specific state>." But it usually falls between $1500-2000, I think national average is closer to $1600, with average size of 700 sqft.

Yeah it seems like it cost the same as a fkn mortgage(maybe 20-30% less). But gahdamn can't imagine dropping 1k+ on rent every month. Can understand a mortgage but not rent.
