We are being told of more and more young people not being able to afford a house. The prices go up, up, up and forces people to be happy in smaller and smaller home (pods), more roommates, more van living, more room-in-a-house renting, more retreating to bad neighborhoods.

Dating as humans once knew it went in the toilet long ago. Incel population rising. Women giving themselves to man after man while even being praised for how it empowers them.

People not wanting to have children. Birthrates at all time lows. Women rejecting the idea of being domesticated mothers as antiquated.

We hear about tainted food sources making a constant supply of clean/edible food something reserved for a small minority. Plastics in the water, cancer rates up, etc.

We see more people than ever depressed, in therapy, autistic, having anxiety, on psychotropic drugs, etc.

We see the people of the country more divided than ever with anti-trumpers at the throats of ordinary Americans

We see divisive rhetoric of basically everyone being called Hitler/racist, etc.

We see open borders allowing people (voters) to pour in at record highs.

We see inflation reducing the standard of living and forcing people to try to be happy with less and less that they continually pay more for.

We see degeneracy touted as greatness from every outlet. Record numbers of young people that don't even know if they are male or female. Children being sexually abused everywhere. Pornography -- soft and hardcore flooding society.

The list goes on....

Well lets see, western countries have been getting flooded with 3'rd country immigrants so their populations and food requirements have never been higher.

Meanwhile the 3'rd world has been repopulating at record levels.

Yes and they're just getting started, interesting times ahead

1960s was better

Well I'd certainly say in 1960s there may have been this general feeling of even brighter times ahead. Now I'd say that feeling almost doesn't exist.

i guess there's some satisfaction to being alive to see things crumble to the ground.

Maybe in the west but a lot of parts don't have these issues
