Sloots were very much into metal/rock in the decades before the turn of the century, it was only after jogger music went mainstream that things shifted.

ONce metal bands went a bit mainstream, they start to lose their original sound.

Slipknot, Bullet For My Valentine, Dimmu Borgir, Behemoth, Children of Bodom with some of their latest albums.
