LOL working out only increases your life expectancy by 0.4 to 4.2 years

"Eleven studies included confounding risk factors for mortality and revealed an increase in life expectancy by 0.4 to 4.2 years with regular physical activity."

Might as well not waste your time and instead just chill and eat whatever you want

All that effort working out, dieting, etc...for 4 extra months (LOL 4 months) to maybe at most 4 extra years when you're old anyway

Lifting weights doesn't do much but cardio definitely does. From personal experience it keeps my BP low, otherwise it's always high.

Low BP: better life expectancy.

youngcels only pay attention to the longevity of life, not the quality, they think that if exercise of piss only adds 2 yrs that means they'll have the same quality of life as an exercise pisser and then just magically drop dead 2 yrs earlier.

no son.......in ass

but i'm guessing some degree of exercise will increase the quality of your life....for example might give you an extra decade of getting around better even if you only live 4 extra years

I don’t think they can form a solid conclusion based just physical activity alone. You have to look at other factors that are often inclusive within gym goers lifestyles such as healthy diets,
lower stress levels, higher water intake and just general awareness of ones health and well being.

Not to mention at the very base of it all. Regardless of only having 4 years or less longer life expectancy. At least the people that took care of their bodies won’t be living their last years out as miserable fat slobs with a laundry list of health issues that make living their life unbearable.

You carry around extra weight, you’re going to be more susceptible to disease

And don’t forget quality of life…… do you want to be a shut in that can barely wipe their a.ss or play pickleball with all the widows who be mirin’?

It's about quality of life as you get older as others have pointed out.
