How bad of a bulking strategy would this be?

I've been stuck at 265ish for a while give or take 5 pounds. I eat a lot of food and occasionally have digestion issues. Obviously I need some more calories. Some thing that would go down easy and digest well is bread and butter. So maintain my current diet with all the protein and stuff but before bed, slice a chunk of butter, put it in the bread, smash it up like a doughball so I can eat it in one bite. Eat the full loaf and a full stick of butter.... Or start with half a loaf and half a stick of butter. The full loaf and full stick of butter would be an easy 2000 calories. So maybe start with half and 1000 calories.

Been maintaining this physique for a while now. Bench has been stalled out although mostly because of a chitty flat bench that wobbles. Deadlift is going up but weight and physique are the same.

lol **** that

just incorporate milk. Get lactose free just for ease of digestion, even if you aren't lactose intolerant - tastes about the same.

1L of 1.5% fat milk is around 400 calories or so. 15g fat, 35g protein etc.

I easily drink around 1L with a meal, and 2-3L per day. Adds 800-1200 calories per day effortlessly.

Appreciate it. Idk I think I can. Would be cool to get bigger, hit some PRs then go on a badass cut and get ripped for winter time. That's the high season here and will be on the beach a lot more.

Have you tried fair life? Costly but I have no indigestion or reflux with it. Polish off a bottle of chocolate fair life and 2 natty PB and Js or banana. Easy 1500 calories

at a certain point, drinking your calories would be more optimal tbh. not sure why you'd want to be larger than 265 also. you're gonna feel like chit in about 15 lbs.

Perfect. More motivation to start a cut. If I can get to like 280-290 with similar body fat I'd be content with that. Then I think i could be a lean 250-255ish post cut. And I wanna deadlift 800. I think I'm capable of it, still gaining strength at a steady rate

Butter is really filling and satiating, it's ironically not a good bulking food. Try peanut butter instead if that's not bad on your stomach.

Go look up Tom Haviland's IG. He details his nutrition on there and has for years. I think he has a dedicated "nutrition" story button to click on to cycle through what he eats, what each meal has in it, how much the macros are and even how to cook/ingredient list of some of the stuff he ate. He was eating upwards of 10-11k of calories with this stuff since he was 6'8 and 350+ and he said this is what he could eat for that many calories without digestive distress. Well at least for that calorie intake.

Here's a rare video he actually speaks in and talks about his nutrition at that time.
