Crazy how the main political issues have totally shifted in 10 years

10 years ago:

War in Iraq/Afghanistan

Gay Rights

National Debt (remember the Tea Party lol)

Global Warming

Today:

War in Ukraine/Gaza

Transgender Rights

Should we cut taxes even more or give out more free money? (nobody gives a single F about the national debt even though it is bigger than ever)

Nobody cares or talks about global warming anymore

Or maybe that's just what my social media feed is calibrated for. Discuss.

At the time some people acted like climate change or the national debt was a world ending issue that could lead to the collapse of America or the end of the planet.

And yet 10 years later, both problems are bigger than ever yet hardly anybody cares at all.
