In the 90s I assumed we were heading to a place where focus on race would be over.

I knew we couldn’t keep teaching kids we were different, so we could stop seeing each other as black kids and Asian kids and white kids and Mexican kids. But just be kids.

But nowadays the focus is entirely on what race/sex/gender someone is. It’s no longer about individual accomplishment or achievement, it’s about hitting blackrock dei matrix targets and bragging about which sector of “underprivileged people” you are helping.

Has anyone observed that since she entered the presidential race and is surging, the main focus of posters with a Trump defending history is to try and embarass her potential voters?
