I gave up on Lost. I remember them saying everything was science-based and that everything would be logical with everything that happened. And well we know how that turned out.

it was never explained how the murdering step mom got her powers in the first place. but after that the timeline sort of makes sense. the science doesn't but it couldn't possibly because there's mystic arts involved. jacob was brainwashed, his brother knew that and hated him for keeping him captive. in the grand scheme of things jacob was a selfish ass and a murderer, manipulator. he could leave the island any time he wanted, he even continued to live (cuz magic) after being killed. but his brother must be a prisoner always. yet jacob is painted as the good guy

Season 1 was legendary. And it was all downhill from there.
