what the hell happened to pokemon

when i was a kid they were just weird animals with powers and ash and team rocket kept getting into fights over them. like pikachu was the best or something

eventually there was this psychic pokemon who was created in a lab by humans

thats when i stopped paying attention

now pokemon can control space time and somehow another pokemon created the universe? god is a pokemon? did these writers just say fukkit?

is ash and team rocket even around anymore

I’ve played up to shining pearl. A lot of these new forms, powers, editions are just a way to create new merchandise for people to purchase.

They make the majority of their profits off of the merchandise

BTW this isn't new lol. The pokemon you refer to are from gen 4 (nearly 15-20years ago iirc).


Ash isn't around anymore though. Not sure about team rocket tbh

I wish they would remake Red or Blue for switch. I wanna play Pokemon again but I don't wanna get a Gameboy color and pay stupid money for the orignals.

This happens with every brand. I remember it happening with GI Joe and transformers. New garbage characters that were thrown in the fray just to sell a new toy

FireRed and LeafGreen are slightly better remakes

It's been 25 years OP. It's isn't for us anymore, and they had to keep things fresh. And Ash's journey fondly ended last year.

As for space and time, that was back in diamond and pearl. Arceus is the God Pokémon, but don't remember when it was introduced.

I have the Unbound rom on a GBA cart. It's pretty GOATed. Only half way through the game atm
