I know they have their uses in acute support and in some chronic cases (substance abuse, cancer etc.)... but the field is largely subject to a reproduction crisis of its many "evidence-based" methods.

Also, they are just hour session 1-2 per week. Not sure how this makes a difference.


Imagine if you suffer from an acid attack or become disabled due to a spinal injury. I mean... I wouldn't say this to someone who is a victim of this to their face, but all in all deep down we all know their life is ****.

Humans are social species and we compare our lives to each other and whilst you can probably opt out of getting a pool because Joneses did so, being disabled and your dating + socioeconomic prospects being diminished is much harder.

The only thing that can help those folk is some biomedicine academic genius figuring out how to regenerate spines or advanced bionics.
