I'm convinced I'll reach 405 bench before 500lb squat srs

I do agree with getting as strong as possible at a movement though, but yeah, not everybody gonna be elite

Yeah you should definitely get as strong as possible but he seems to have no idea what elite means. Although I haven't watched him in a while so maybe he says something different now.
