Overweight, alcohol, drugs.

Also overvalued her looks in her youth, and while she began aging she researched solutions and tried damn near every one of them. Probably inspired by the Kardashians, Jersey Shore, etc.

There can be multiple reasons for the tattoos, but clearly she went too far and decided "phark it might as well get more."
