The OEM 1,064hp Corvette ZR1 (2025)

Anyone else getting one of these?

Is it only me?

Land Chads, do you go to track days?

I would put a single mother of 3 onto the streets for one of these.

You could build your own 1000 hp corvette for a quarter of the price.

If I had the disposable I come to buy one, hell yeah. I wouldn't use it to its potential though, I'm a drag racer, not a track guy. I can build a car for significantly less and go faster than that.

Definitely a sexy car.
Wort ew in th wold.

Of course, buts it’s gonna be a repurposed piece of sh*t pushrod truck engine that has been re-machined and bored out to its last set of internals.

I definitely wasn't expecting 1064hp before the reveal

I assumed they'd be lame and shrink the 5.5L engine down to a 4.4L and end up with like a 780hp twin turbo

my 885hp hellpussy redeye challenger stands no chance against this zr1

chief engineer at gm said they were getting 850hp with the wastegates wide open

makes sense, runs like 25psi, hellcat redeye makes 807 at 15 psi, and thats with 150hp loss from a supercharger

then take into account that this zr1 revs to 8000rpm, then BOOM… 1064HP

too bad theres not a drag mode where u can turn off the limited slip for prepped surfaces
