I heard in a video that smaller, weaker men took over the larger alpha men in tribes and then began building civilization, creating weapons and swords, and that's why we have so much violence.

Basically these smaller men weren't getting any of the women (note, some of these guys were over 6' or the equivalent for the time, but the other alpha men were that much bigger and stronger)... basically, they took down all the alphas at some point, made themselves the alphas, and took the women and started breeding with them, and the women didn't mind, especially once they developed civilization further (women luv resources and men who work towards something).

So, ya. Our ancestors were giants, but they were also men like us. If it hadn't been for this evolution, or maybe devolution in some ways, of men and women in societies or civilizations, we wouldn't be here and nothing would have progressed. We'd still be in tribes, basically.

These smaller men would be the equivalent of a male 7 or 8/10 and the larger men would be the equivalent of a 9/10, I guess.
