what was he charged with? usually violent crimes you gotta do 85%. probably do half plus good time 2 years. but hes a POS so he probably wont get good time. probably gonna thug it up in prison and come out worse

damn, that news video was enraging. They painted the guy out to be a victim of circumstance. 5 years in prison, followed by 15 years of probation.... which he will surely break and go right back into prison.

OH SHEEIIT!! 15 years PAROLE not probation. parole is easier than probation but if he fuks up and commits another violent crime and he will, hes gonna have to do that 15 in prison until he see the parole board. because of his thuggish ways hes gonna be in and out of prison the next 15 years MINIMUM! all over a fuking switch. probably stole that switch in the first place

He's a mental deficient with the body of a man but the mind of a child. He shouldn't be going to prison at all, he needs to be institutionalized permanently, or euthanized.

the article and the video did say probation... "supervised probation" I'm not sure what the difference is tbh



edit: ok just looked it up. I guess "supervised probation" IS parole. Hmm... Seems kind of convoluted either way

He needs a mental evaluation which im sure he got before sentencing. its not my job or anyone elses job except the judge to sentence him. im just pointing out he is pretty fuked in the long run unless he can get the rehabilitation he needs. i dont see that happening unfortunately. the system rarely helps the people that need it. its a viscous cycle of recidivism. i agree. this kid dont need prison. hes gonna come out way worse. thats the system for you though. rotten to the core

its redundant the way different states have different words for the same thing. if you go to prison and you get out its always gonna be parole no matter what. just like if you do jail time and get out you cant do parole but probation. its ment to confuse people. Ill explain in the simplest way i can. probation is designed to put you back in jail or prison. parole is designed to keep you OUT of prison.they will usually try to work with you on parole unless you commit another felony or violent crime.

on probation they want to put you back in jail cause they want you in that revolving door pumping more money into the system.There end game is always to try to get you into prison one way or the other. i know it sounds fuked up but i just explained it to a T

Probation is used in lieu of incarceration

Parole is after incarceration


Supervised probation is used here because he is technically sentenced to 20 years.

Had he been incarcerated for 20 years he’d still end up on parole

Yeah,they dont fuk around with that chit down south. i didnt even know what state this was in.i thought the 5 years was abnormal for a first time offender in a northern state.AGG BAT is 3 to 7. they wanted to give me 3 for my AGG BAT. i said fuk that and got a real lawyer cause it was self defense. i beat it more or less. southern states are a whole new ball game when it comes to AGG crimes
