I guess this will discourage people trying to record history

The higher resolution of a phone screen, the higher quality the screenshot is gonna be.

Right okay. My old phone took smaller screenshots, but had a smaller memory card. My new phone takes bigger screenshots, but has a bigger memory card.

Whats the problem
