I have a full rack, adjustable bench, barbell, and like 650lbs of plates, really no downside except I have limited space, if you want something cheap temu or amazon has them, I bought mine from bells of steel.

another one for Rep Fitness, the 1100 is a great starting point, but if you have space / budget you can easily go with one of their more comprehensive offerings.

The 1100 you can basically do everything, get the cable pully system or get the cable w/ weight stack system for cable stuff. I'd explore the options with the 1100, again, you can cover all bases here and kit it out however you like. One thing it doesn't have is foot rests for cable rows, but you can just put some 40s/50s down and use those.

They've got great benches too, I got their 3000 series bench which does incline, flat, decline (I use decline for ab work)

I got the old Parabody 843 - but they went out of business.

REP fitness makes really nice racks for an import company and they have a high low attachment

I have a basic rack from Titan, it was like $250, maybe $270 when I got it 10 years ago. Looks like prices went way up, thanks Obama.

There was no option for a pull-down back then but it looks like they have one now. I've been doing pull-ups instead of pull downs for the past 10 years…

I bought a cage but because of limited room I opted to use them as two squat racks instead . I can still use the safety arms so I don’t see I lost out. The great thing was because it was recently released by Bells of Steel, they had additional accessories, so I purchased extra J hooks etc.
This way I could leave my hooks in position for squat, incline bench , flat bench and dead lift .
Nice not having to move hooks all the time

I got the Titan T-2 rack and incline bench combo for legit ~$350 back in 2019

It's up about 100 bucks for just the rack alone now
They missed.

I have a smith machine rack wuth lat pull down, cross fly setup, adjustable racking to switch to an olympic bar. Their is another pulley set front below the fly deck where I can do cable curls etc. This is the cage style where weights go on the sides.

With that and my separate leg extension bench, I have full body ability.

Most of the equipment is Titan.
I probably banged your mom.

I have a basic rep fitness PR-4000 rack, a flat bench, plates and a couple bars (rogue stainless Ohio power bar and Titan SSB).

Wish I had an incline bench but got the flat bench because it's lighter and easier for my wife to move around. I got most of my gear from rep thinking that would help me save on shipping. It's been a good setup and gets use 5 or 6 days a week between me, my wife, and kids.

I bought a lot of the stapes from Titan Fitness price wasn't so bad before the Covid craze hit, quality has been solid. Weights from craigslist/********/offerup etc… Only thing I REALLY WANT is dumbbells from 50-100lb's but I haven't wanted to drop the money on that yet.

When Covid hit everyone wanted to use it. I’m like fk that , I didn’t build a gym to be a public gym as that’s what I was trying to avoid .
I don’t know if my immune system is fk’d or what, but I used to get sick AF going to our local gym . Not hard to believe though when there tons of people in close proximity.
My neighbours daughter was visiting from England ,and she was showing me the plates she found in her dad’s basement to use to work out . She had like a couple 10’s , a 5 and 2.5 from an old York set . I told her if you want to work out you better check out my gym.
Was the first time I’ve had a 25 YO hottie in my home gym .That I didn’t mind

I have two things. First is a squat stand. Its just got to arms to put the bar on. No safeties ro anything like that. I unrack, step back and squat. Simple. i have bumper plates so if I need to bail, I bail.

For bench pressing I can lower the arms. Again, no safeties so can be scary to max out.

To remedy this i have a pair of metal sawhorses that fold up when not in use. Pu them at the right height and they are better than any safeties you can buy. Plus I can use them in the shop as sawhorses.

I also have a pair of squat stands. These are a bit scarier to use. very flimsy and would not recommend for anything other than maybe some incline bench of overhead pressing. They were like $100 if that so i got what i got.

Nice pendlay barbell, trap bar and a swiss bar round it out. With this affordable setup I can do a full workout no problem.
