Is the government manipulating the weather?

Past 2 summers have been hot as **** with no end in sight

“record breaking summers”

“we need action on climate change now!”

the whole thing is just odd

what i see over here in smack ass colorado is the weather channel always talking about how bad things are going to be and how much hotter this summer is than usual, while actual temps aren't that bad and somewhat average for a smacker.

I don’t think it’s been below 85 here the whole summer

Every year for like the past 15 years its been a record breaking summer

When I look at the actual weather graph vs historical averages, there's not a single day in the summer where the actual low temperature was below the average low temperature. You'd expect half to be above and half below. Been like this for years

On nextdoor and our city forum there's people complaining about 1000 dollar a month power bills over the summer too

The heat/humidity just drains all your energy. It's like your body knows the only way it can cool itself is by slowing its metabolic activity down

Chit is miserable, srs

Cloudseeding used to be a conspiracy and like most conspiracies it's now mainstream truth. Look it up. They just now, in recent years, admit to it

We used to have way hotter summers in IL. This year has been pretty hot, but the past summers haven't been that bad. 2020 was pretty hot.

I'm more pissed about the lack of snow in IL the past few years.

I was colder here last year but way hotter in 2022 and 2021. I work on climate change for the feds, it’s the biggest con the government has ever pulled. Taxpayers were forced to give trillions to subsidize energy companies, they did their things and made trillions, now that it’s time to mitigate all of the environmental damage taxpayers are again on the hook for trillions more to fund it.
