New poll shows Harris 4 points ahead of Trump in 3 key swing states

A major new poll puts Kamala Harris ahead of Donald Trump in three key swing states, signaling a dramatic reversal in momentum for the Democratic party with three months to go until the election.

The vice-president leads the ex-president by four percentage points in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan, 50% to 46%, among almost 2,000 likely voters across the three states, according to new surveys by the New York Times and Siena College.

The polls were conducted between 5 and 9 August, in the week Harris named midwesterner Tim Walz, the governor of Minnesota and a former high-school teacher, as her running mate on November’s Democratic ticket

I live in a city that votes 90+% Dem in all elections, and have seen 2 Kamala Yard Signs at this point. Usually by this late in the election cycle you'd see tons and tons of signs for whoever the Dem nominee is.

I really just don't know if there's that much enthusiasm for Kamala out there. And righht now is probably the most popular she will ever be.

Next week the new polls will show she is 8 points above Trump and he has zero chance of winning it.

What does Trump expect when he tells blacks that Kamala isn't black, plants blackfaces in his audience & then makes up a fake story about a dicey helicopter ride with a famous black guy? None of this is going to sit well with undecided minority voters.

That sucks.

I see Trump leads in the Rasmussen general poll still by a good margin. I consider Rasmussen one of the better more honest pollsters. Hope that lead continues. Harris certainly has the blue press pushing her new campaign and that is helping her.

I've read that in the past Harris also did well in campaigns early on but after talking with the press she quickly lost her appeal for many voters. Will be interesting to see how long Harris can avoid answering questions on her proposed policies. One report I saw said she might answer press questions in 3 weeks. I thought that was a lie.

You are not voting for a good economy when voting for Harris.

Definitely feels like Trump's going to lose. His campaign doesn't have near the momentum it did in 2016.
