Father passed due to cancer

Made it to 80’s. Lived a good life here in the US. We’re actually indebted to the US healthcare system for helping him live a few months longer after being diagnosed.

Wished he died a natural death but he didn’t exactly live the healthiest life and still made it that long.

Cancer is as natural as it gets. Congrats to your father for beating the spread. I hope we can all do the same.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

Sorry to hear that mane. Luckily he lived a full life and hopefully wasn't sick long. My wish for everyone is that they would be healthy and just not wake up one day (no suffering).

Use this as motivation to live a healthy lifestyle and take care of your mom if she's still alive.

Thanks man. Mom’s still alive. Going to take care of her best as I can and learn from the mistakes my father made.

We knew dad was on the way out because he spent a year slowly declining in aged care and then had a massive stroke which rendered him Michael Schumacher. Died Sunday morning after the Wednesday night stroke at 88. Then funeral rushed to Wednesday after as I had a significant trip organized.

But it's still a huge mental event when he actually goes. I kept repeating the word 'fatherless' in my head. First time ever fatherless, and forever will be.

Sorry to hear that. It sucks. Lost my dad and mom to cancer, both within 6 months. Only 60 years old. Love your fam, brahs, never know how long they have.
Freedom of speech is a principle pillar of a free government; when this support is taken away, the constitution of a free society is dissolved and tyranny is erected on its ruins.
