India officially has 9 gold medals at the Paris Olympic Games! 33 total medals. Great effort by India. Proud of my nation!

And wall climbing is in there as well-what a joke. But the second most watched sport in the world can't get in-it only took place once in 1900, though it is scheduled for 2028 in LA.

whats sad is that rich guy who spent like 100B on his wedding of his son. think how much that coulda improved indias medal count or even sanitation needs.

SRS how pathetic a nation can be if you cannot find a single person out of 2 billion to win you a gold medal?

Meanwhile nations like Croatia, Serbia and Bulgaria each have like 3 gold medals with population of between 4-7 million people per country

I know you keep saying the second watched sport in the world, but how many countries do play cricket?. On top of my head: UK, India, Pakistan, Jamaica, Australia, Bangladesh.

Most-test playing nations are England, Australia, New Zealand, West Indies, South Africa, Zimbabwe, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan & Ireland. But you have all the associate members as well-Holland, Scotland, UAE, Oman, Nepal, USA, Canada & Kenya are the biggest ones & have or have had international ODI status.

You also have it in places you probably wouldn't expect-Brazil, Chile, Peru, Mexico, France, Italy, all of Scandinavia, Slovenia etc. Pretty much the entire world plays it to some reasonable level-even Russia.
