Since the Supplement forum is permanently hosed- what Whey are you guys taking?

After getting back into lifting I jumped on what was tried and true for me in the past, ON Whey. What whey protein are you guys using these days?

ON whey from Costco, they have a sale every January for $15 off, and this last April they had a sale they didn’t announce in the coupon book for around $7 off

AG1 first thing in the morning

Numood and alpha brain blended with kale and spinach

12 pills of Optimen multivitamin grinded down and shorted

4 Scoops N.O.-Xplode mixed with C4 Pink Starburst

3 cans of Monster Zero spread throughout the day

12.5 grams of creatine monohydrate per day post workout

Vitamin d + k2 gummies

Kirkland fish oil capsules

8 scoops of optimum nutrition whey

Only about $750 a month but its worth it to have bright green piss and get 3 hours of sleep per night

AVOID ON Whey.

ON Whey used to be my go-to, but it contains soy, stay away from it.

I recommend Ascent Protein if you're on a budget, but the best, if money is no issue, would be Transparent Labs 100% Grass Fed Whey.

A note on the Ascent Protein, make sure you look at the label before buying product, in the past they did use soy due to shortages in sunflower lecithin at the time, but do not CURRENTLY use it. So any new product should be completely soy free, but double check, just in case.

Ascent offers 2 pound and 4 pound bags
Transparent Labs offer 2 pound and 4 pound tubs

I've been using either Lean Whey from musclesport, axe and sledge farm fed protein or PES select protein lately. All 3 taste great

I was kidding. I dont use any supplements lol.

Put your money into just eating higher quality food.

Beef, chicken, pork, dairy, fresh vegetables.

Eat well, lift hard, try to sleep well. Supplements are not needed bro.

Oh and get some fresh air and sunlight. Go for a long walk a few times a week getting direct sunlight. Thats something too many people dont worry about.

I haven't had whey in a few years. It's literally a waste of money and a buy product of boiled milk. Just eat whole foods, you don't need 90% of supplements if your diet is actually healthy with whole natural foods.

I was going to post this.

I live by an Eastern European supermarket. They have a buffet and it's all meat. I buy a bunch of things for lunch during the week and then have some kind of meat and veg for dinner.

I'm almost never hungry or snack because of all the protein I have digesting in my system.

Meanwhile, drinking whey just goes right through your body quickly. So, you are barely digesting it. Meanwhile, meat slowly digests and releases what your body needs over the course of hours.

I don't like whey - I prefer dehydrated egg whites - they have no flavor so you can mix with anything

I don't take anything anymore. Supplements are a scam lol. I eat steak and I supplement with butter. I'll have nature's multivitamin which is just a little beef liver/heart/kidney maybe once a week. Then I supplement that with real artesian/mountain water. I might get a little crazy and put some extra salt on my food.

None unless you count an allergy pill and daily men's multi, been doing that for years.

I'd consider creatine monohydrate, but only if I'm OK with the water weight bloat (and potential baldness problems? IDK?) that it came with.
