Good for him but if you actually watched the race, he put team USA in a huge hole that the other dudes had to dig out of. He really had no business being there this year. It wasn’t the final but you can’t tell me there wasn’t a better option.

He was the first leg in the 4x400 in the semifinals. By the time he was handing off the baton to the second leg the US team was 3 seconds behind, unheard of in any round for the US even when using their B team. The US barely qualified and it took until the last 100 meters of the 4th leg for the US to qualify because of the debt he put them in.

The kid has a bright future ahead of him but putting him in a finals qualifying race was a terrible decision. There are hundreds of 400 meter sprinters in the US who would've been a better choice to put in that leg of the team. It was feelz before realz.

From what I was reading it was relay

And he performed +2s in the qualification making other members to step it up

I’m not proficient in olypmic rules but I think the better you do the worst position you get in the finals or something

Edit: ^ or that

guy almost ruined the teams chances. his split was almost as slow as the womens splits (srs).

usa 4x400 team is the creme of the crop in the world for decades. phucking it up like that was unacceptable.

should not have been out there in a relay like that without some prior experience. he didnt qualify for the individual 400, so they should not have taken him (ded fkn srs)

edit:
forgot to mention if it wasnt for his team trying HARD as phuck to get top 3 after Quincy's terrible leg to move on to the final, they likely would have had the WR in the final. they had to expend a lot of energy fixing his problem and didnt have it all 100% in that final. getting the WR would have been HUGE

He needs to stop worrying about running and start focusing on schools. He got held back like 3-5 years.

Too many black and Hispanic boys and occasionally young men (since they get held back so much) focus too much on sports and nothing on school. For fuks sake, you go to school to learn, not play sports. There is one ghetto school in Dallas that has a top athletics program, but their academics are complete chit. Focus on school. Who are they trying to impress anyways? Almost all their women are morbidly obese.
