Nope, but that's because I work Sunday. I only get anticipatory related anxiety on Saturday nights - closer to 7 or 8 PM.

I'm buying a new construction house currently. Including dropping 10% (soon to be 20% during closing). The PITI + HOA + bills will likely be closer to $3.5k - $4k/mo. Compared to my current rent + bills equating to like $2.3k/mo.

If I didn't do the above, and continued to be a rentcel, I'd have probably 3-4 years worth of CoL in straight up cash. This acknowledgement helped to dissuade such anxieties... like if I had a bad attitude and performance, who cares I can just rot for a while after getting let go and find a similar job a year later or something. But now money is tight, so I've gotta be more of an overachiever and "cultural fit", till I regain my prior status of "phark you money" in relation to my new CoL.

It's tempting to look at my retirement accounts as a cope for "phark you money," but obviously only an idiot or someone unfortunately desperate would actually act on that.
