we live din country, deep. my parents had a Christmas party that night. it was Saturday December 16 1997. It was snowing

I stayed home alone and was excited. Video game,s movie spizza oh boy!

At 8pm I was in upstairs bathroom and when I turned around I saw a car heading down drive way

hmmmmmmmmm that cant be mom and dad can it be?

I kept watching and saw the car pull up and IT WAS NOT THEIR CAR

I saw a guy get out and walk to door and knock

I froze

I went down stairs and lowered my self to the gorund and crawled down the hallway

he kept kocking then stopped


I thought he was going to the cra but I never heard it,

THEN

the back door started knocking

I got really scared then,

I dared to our dining room and hid under a table

AFter 5 minutes I heard his car start up and left

I was still worried

I relaxed watching TEH SANTA CLAUSE WITH TIM ALLEN

then 10:00pm came and I heard a tap on the window in the living room

I fell to the floor i heard a voice shout

"I KNOW YOUR IN TEHRE AND ALL ALONE"

I screamed and ran down the all through the kitchen

I went upsatirs and hid in my parents closet

THEN

The power wen tout

I started crying thinking im screwed

O found a flashlight and lit it up

The front doo r knob was jiggling

i said GET BACK

he said "let me in ist cold out"

I said "NO!"

then he left and went around th ehouse past the barn and wne tot back door and started shouldering it

i grabbed a basebal bat and screamed

"I HAVE A BAT"

he said" yo think im scared sonny?"

I turned and ran out the front door tricking him knowing he couldnt catch me, i grabbe dthe keys and locked it

I ran to the garage and went in there hiding under my moms car

I then got up and saw him go back to the front door trying to get in

then he slowly turned and looked at the garage and starte dwalkign that way

I ran through the garage to the party rom and climbe dout a window and ran to the barn

THEN i heard him say "OH CRAP!!"

my parents started to pull up!!

He ran through te backyard and tripped

I ran out of te barm svcreaming for my parents

my dad rog cam erunnign i pointe dat the guy

my dad chased him but slippe din the snow

h=the guy wa son teh run and out of nowehre he triuppe din the field and go up and ran half mile down teh road ot his car and left
my dad said

who wa sthat

i sai didk

he aid

lets get inside

the next morning we woke up to a note on teh porch that said


YOU GOT LUCKY
