actually if you read through the twitter feed it seems like there is tons of historical evidence supporting this.

silly me, I thought it was cuz they were easier to hold onto but that's very lowIQ on my part.

Im no numisphåg or know the history, but I assume because nickels weren't ever worth chit (aka made out of silver or gold). So no reason to take $0.0000002 worth of copper off a nickel.

Interesting, thanks for the update. I finally managed to get in touch withtexas national bank customer service, and they actually answered, which was a relief. It turned out to be a great day for me after all, especially with that positive outcome. Their responsiveness and assistance made a big difference and helped resolve my concerns. It’s always reassuring when you get the support you need in a timely manner.
