first time i met my ex she told me exactly this

i ignored every red flag

but she was a second girl during chinas one child policy. a second child being a boy was okay

she was hidden from the government during her childhood and that probably caused her to be the way she is

the irony is i did everything i could to improve her life and got rewarded with slooting

Every person I know like that is bitter and vindictive. It's like basket of crabs with them trying to bring everyone down into their crap with them.

I don't think its that common unless that person wishing it already has a negative opinion about a particular individual.

What I would say is more common is not caring if others fail, even if that persons failure helps them succeed at whatever they're trying to pursue.

You're saying it's not common, but this is a common problem that plagues society.

I dont hope for anyone to fail, but I dont want everyone else to do better either. So when I see other people failing, including celebrities, it does sometimes give me a good feeling in the sense that I am not the only one who fails sometimes. I am not proud of it, but I cant help feeling like this some of the time.
