If someone put a gun in your mouth and told you to pick where to shoot

What would be the best decision? Assuming it had to look like an attempt at death, no shooting your lip or cheek...
My initial thought is lower right side of the throat, left side would carry more risk, and shooting up would damage the brain.
Any experts on this matter?

Don't know much about arteries, glands, nerves, etc in the throat / neck but yeah definitely downwards and to a certain side I would have thought
