I barely know he's an actor but have long known about his looks. still referred to as handsome-archetype by femaloids even well into old age.

Beat me to it-the third most handsome French actor after Depardieu & Belmondo. If his funeral is anything like the latter's it will be quite the spectacle.

Health issues took their toll on him the last 15-20 years years, but he was a handsome older guy.

If you like foreign films, he has many worth checking out.

I would highly recommend Le Samourai, Le Cercle Rouge, Un flic & Two Men In Town. He also did a pretty solid tv series in the early 2000's called Fabio Montale-bit corny, but good action.
