Buddy got mad I didn’t finish my beer

My friend threw a small get together last night. I was drinking a white claw but didn’t feel like finishing it by the time o had to leave. There was maybe like a 3rd of the can left.

He texted me today that it was great to see me but next time don’t waste a drink. “That’s good beer, man.” He said.

Is it that big of a deal to text someone over? Or am I wasteful?

That was kinda rude though. When someone invites me over to their house, I make sure to finish what I take, that's just good manners. It's different if you're at a restaurant.

I always get a kick out of people who throw various get togethers and parties and try to police certain behaviors and cause tension and drama. It's a great way to have people slowly move away from being friends with you.

That's a huge pet peeve of mine. I can't stand it when people act like alcohol is sacred. They'll see somebody hasn't finished it at a table and said loudly say You're going to waste that? That's good alcohol. Then someone will volunteer to take one for the team and finish it.

What is wrong with people like that? That is a mental illness. No one ever gets upset if you don't finish your Coca-Cola or your glass of water. When I see that, I know that person's an alcoholic and I really don't want to have anything to do with them.

He's being a bitch.

He paid for it and wants to let you know he did and that you cheated him out of a dollar of liquid in the can.

he sounds like a legit alcoholic. every alcoholic i know does the same thing. doesn't matter if they are going to puke, they'll finish every drop of their drink and make sure everyone else does too.
