Scousers are often termed as "Bin Dippers" and have picked up the reputation of being thieves.
Albert Dock was one of the world's major trading centres and when this and their manufacturing industry tanked, the city endured mass poverty and unemployment.
They are anti-establishment, they hate the class system and feel wronged by the government, not helped by things like the Hillsborough disaster.
I'd consider them more as Celts than Anglos. They feel more aligned with minorities and are rather anti-English and will for instance boo the national anthem.
If you ever hear a scouser speak they certainly sound different than anyone else. I ain't got no beef with them. They're local to us Mancs and so are ok in my book.
