Why hasn't Hollywood made a super high budget Epic of Gilgamesh Trilogy?

Hollywood is out of ideals and just makes super hero movies, woke movies, and remakes these days.
Why don't they make an ultra high budget movie trilogy about one of the greatest stories ever told?
These are the Cliffs.

If they make it, Gilgamesh will be incompetent and take orders from Ishtar, who we learn was the real hero and just his platonic girl-boss friend and probably a black (but no too black) lesbian.

Because Hollywood consistently fails at these "epic" films.


The best example that comes to mind is Oliver Stone's "Alexander" which was a monumental flop and horrificly bad.

Arab? No such thing existed for thousands of years after Sumerians ruled the world. Mesopotamians and Sumerians were a complete different race than The Arabs from 2,800 years ago let alone the Arabs of today.
