Would the misc work as standup joke opener?

If I went on Kill Tony, walked straight on stage and I begin my set with:
'So I'm a miscer....'
Would I get immediate laughs, with a couple of 'WOOO!!'s in the crowd from fellow miscers who came out to get yucky with the boys and watch some standup comedy? Or would it be stone cold silence and everyone thinking 'wtf is a miscer?'

Dead silence, the panel looks confused, tony asks about the misc after your set, he doesn't understand, he hates you, humiliates you in front of Joe Rogan, Joe karate kicks you in the dick, ari shaffir comes out from backstage and teabags you with his extra jewy sack, and now you're an internet meme forever

Stand up career is probably less than 50 percent talent

They will keep booking people who are horrible for specials. Joe Rogan. Amy Schumer. Jerry Seinfeld... Those are TERRIBLE at it but some how get TV specials.


At least if you suck at singing they can auto tune it. Or if you suck at acting they cast you in simple characters and you can do a million retakes. But so many stand up have no talent at all.
