Is Godzilla Minus One the best movie in the past 10-15 years?
For those that have seen it, what do you think? I can't remember the last movie I've seen in the past 10-15 years that even comes close.
If you compare it to movies made in the last 5 years, it's basically a 10/10 perfect movie.
Compared to all movies ever made, its probably still a solid 9/10.
For you brahs that havent seen it yet - watch it. Its an incredible movie. You will be entertained, excited, feel this sense of tension throughout the film, and it's packed with emotion. I held back some tears towards the end.

Someone left their netflix acct on my tv and I was only able to make my way about an hour through it before I had to go to bed for the night. I was going to watch the second part but the acct logged out.
I think the strong points for it was it actually had a reason why Godzilla could take explosions and survive rather than the newer ones where missiles do chit to him. I also thought it was a good idea of having the film set 50+ years ago so you didn't have to look past the fact that we have nukes and stuff now.

Loved it, only complaint is the unrealistic sappy ending at the end.

Definitely not. Seems you have a thing for movies geared towards teens.

It was certainly one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. That and the latest missions impossible and top gun maverick, but I'm also a big Tom Cruise fan.

Accidentally watched it expecting it to be a continuation of skull island.
Got the movie series wrong. Having said that watched minus one and thought it was boring/silly
