Should I be buying silver and gold instead of other stuff?

That way if I ever want to leave the country I can just take it with me unlike cars, guns, ammo, boats, rvs, and land.

I dont think getting on a plane with $200k in gold and silver coins would be safe OP.

Just bury it in the ground somewhere and do a treasure hunt to leave a legacy

You're supposed to buy all of it... except for the cars, rvs and boats. Those things don't go up in value.

Buy:

S&P Index
Guns+ammo
Precious metals
Crypto

buy things that go up, not down. Pro tip

I know crypto is a polarizing topic but Id say skip the crypto.

If **** hits the fan I dont know how useful crypto would be.

I'd say most folks don't use crypto as a SHTF safeguard. Some might though. I have maybe $3000 total in crypto and only have it so I can cash out at a higher rate, whatever that might be. Now precious metals I have way more. That could be a safeguard. Lead, it's all the above. I have lots of lead too huehue.

The best thing about gold is with the price being 2500/ozt, you could roll out with a little sack of them and it’s a **** ton of cash

So i was in crypto long time ago. Like 2017

Im still shocked when i pull up coinmarketcap how there are still other coins besides bitcoin

There are like 10 total from around that time still but.. all the rest are new in the top 100

How does that even make sense.

How do all the other crypto coins make sense?

Even if btc is the "store of value"..

Some undoubtedly are superior technically too
