If you don't work in insurance you might be retarded.

- sell a $5000 auto policy today
- get paid 10% ($500)
- continue to get paid $500 every six months in perpetuity unless the customer leaves.

Multiple this by a couple thousand small sales and you can essentially hire a customer service employee to manage the residual business needs and go sem-retired by like year five.
