To preface this, I'm not saying that I need others to worship and adore me for me to feel good, I am very happy with my self and my emotions are self sufficient.

I just feel that I am not getting the recognition that I deserve with regard to how awesome, cool, and funny I am - for example, I always have a quippy remark to make and I've experienced many unique events in my life.

For example, some stupid police officer that goes to my gym gave me a fine once when I was driving back from work for going 15kms over on an empty stretch of road - then when I recognised at the gym I could see he felt uncomfortable and so I walked up to him and told him, "hey mate, you still saving the world, one speeding ticket at a time"? and he looked embarrassed after that.

I honestly feel like this could have been in a movie, alas, no one will ever know, since I do not get the recognition that I deserve.
