no one is winning a fight with an ape. Just not happening. They don't fight like humans do.

This article is 15 years old and I still read it once a year cause it is incredibly well written and it goes into the details of the mauling - it's about a chimp not an orangutang but I believe the results would still be similar - if nothing else they bite and when they bite, they severe things - fingers, noses, lips, genitals, etc.

it's long so I will put the link instead of trying to copy it all here but it is worth the read
