So basically, if you never plan to buy a house or car, you have no need for credit score. If you buy a car, you can pay it whole, without financing, per say.

takes alot of time and dedication to fix up a credit score (took me a near 7 years to build back up from low/mid 600s).

Welcome to the 800 club? Last I saw mine was over 800, then I needed to place a freeze on my credit reporting as someone stole my SS#. Lots of fun taking care of that. .

Actually I think my FICO was in 800 well before this it's just my credit karma (eqifax?) that just went over 800 after hovering around 780-790 for I think years
