Was at a restaurant last night with the wife and saw multiple single girls at the bar (was an Irish bar/restaurant) just waiting for guys to come and talk them up. One even sat right next to a dude (who was not very good looking IMO..no homo)..and the guy said maybe 3 words and stared at the screen he could not hear until finishing his drink and leaving.

There are women out there OP, go talk to them.

You could always pick up a drug habit. That makes life more fun.

But seriously, if I lived somewhere and had no friends, I'd at least become a regular at some bar. Maybe a dive bar that isn't too grungy and filled with complete degens?

Personally I don't like spending that much time with other people, but it's always good to have some bar you can pop into for like 2-3 beers a couple times per week and they know you.

Or what I've done during the last year is fill my weekend days with obligations so I don't really want to go out on Friday/Saturday. I have Personal Training on Sunday mornings, so I haven't gone out a single time on Saturdays during the last year. Which is good, because I don't really feel bad sitting around on Sat night anymore. It was always my least fav night to go out anyways, so the problem was solved.

I just sit at home and misc

I don't have any desire to go out drinking or getting together anymore tbh, rather just do things on my own terms

Any single girl you see anyways at the bar I guarantee is still involved with an "ex", FWB or backup guy. 70% of the time everytime

If you're a single guy going out, you gotta find some way to get social approval. You gotta know the bartender, or have some good stories to tell or you get really drunk and jolly. But you can't just be some single dude going out and sitting on his phone expecting to make connections. You need someone or something to warm you up. It's the only way.
