I bet paying all those cops lifeguards cost the city at the very least $500 to make that trivial arrest.

meanwhile cops avoid bad neighborhoods where bullets are flying.

He looked dangerous to me. Was probably out there collecting jellyfish & stingrays to throw at people.

He’s lucky, normally beach patrol has snipers set up for these scenarios. Nearby roofs were probably too slanted this time.

Lived most of my life in dirty Jersey.

Brb got to pay tolls on the roads to drive to the beach.
Brb have to pay high parking fees. Often at meters 1/2 mile from where you’ll be laying at that are only good for a couple house so you have to come back to pay again. And there’s always a parking cop waiting.
Brb pay more money just to get on the beach.
Brb beaches are crazy crowded.
Brb hopefully make it back to your car without it getting a ticket, so you can pay more tolls to drive back home.

Quality of life skyrocketed when I moved out.
