Would you consider $400k cash life changing money?

Let's say you wake up and there's 400k in your account, would this change your life? All taxes are paid for and stuff

Yes. It would pay off the house I'm buying, and I'd basically solely have to pay the TI + HOA instead of the whole PITI + HOA, so less than $1k/mo. I'd be saving back so much money for the rest of my life, it'd be insane. And no negative interest (debt) eating away at my net worth. I'd probably be able to retire in less than 10 years.

No but it can change the lives of anyone who knows how to invest it if they are currently poor or middle class.

Most poor and middle class would blow it though so it wouldn't change most of their lives either.

It would mostly just make rich people richer from having a larger pool to take advantage of.

If I was just starting out yes. At this point no. It would be nice to get 400k in cash though. I would build an epic barn and buy a nice tractor.

Lmao, came to post this.

For me, absolutely. I'd buy a small house in the middle of a fly over state, and change my job to a rotational position to commute to.

$400k is life changing for 99.999999% of people on the planet. Very suspicious that 50% of miscers are acting like its not lol.

Pay attention to the fraud around here.

Those miscers who are legit rich can donate to the midget.

1k and I'll spend every penny of it on drink and drugs so it will go to a good cause. And I'll confirm to the misc you are indeed a baller so its a win-win

I think the key word is "life changing." A lot of us are in our 30s or older so it's not all that surprising we have a net worth higher than 400K. Now, is 400K still a lot of money? Absolutely. Is it "life changing?" No, not really.
