WWE is getting as dumb as AEW with all their titles. I could kind of accept having two world champions in WCW from 1992-1994 with guys like Vader, Flair, Windham, Sting, Rude etc & the last 20 odd years with Raw & Smackdown, but three world champs in a promotion?

LA Knight's promos and ring work and connecting with the crowd is just gold. He is the next Rock, Austin, Goldberg mega star level. Maybe you know this and you're afraid he'll get bigger than the WWE like Rock and Austin did and you'll lose all control and this scares the shiot out of you.

You know you can control Cody and maybe he'll be the top guy in WWE some day, but only because you shoved him down our throats just like you did with Roman. Roman may be the top guy now, but only within the wrestling universe. He's no mega star.

Cody's problem is he doesn't connect well and is just not relatable. Everything from his suit to his twink physique to that dumb looking neck tattoo. Serious, if it wasn't for the Rhodes name and living off his Daddy's legacy where would he be? Randy never relied on daddy. Neither has Charlotte, Tamina, and even in Dominik's short time in the business has found his own way away from daddy.

If you want to keep doing the same old boring shows year after year and maintain your control over who you want to be the top guy, then just keep doing what you're doing.

If you wanna blow this thing up above and beyond the heyday of the late 90's Attitude/NWO era, then LA Knight is your man.

In my opinion working hard and behaving back stage doesn't mean you deserve the title. You also need to be mega-over. None of the guys I mention are even close to Hogan, Stone Cold, Rock, Undertaker, Cena, Lesnar. Bret Hart is on the list because he could only 1/2 fill arenas. I'll give him credit he could wrestle and cut a promo. Same with Booker T, Sheamus and Miz. Think about how bad the other guys are on the mic.

The songs are putting the wrestlers over more than the storylines and some of the songs are better than the wrestlers.

Rollins would be relegated to mid-carder if he still came out to "Burn it down".

Cody would be less relatable if thats even possible if his song didnt have "Wo oh oh" in it.

Yeah audiences have been singing entrance music for a long time, but only here and there and it worked for Sandman and Fandango, but even Jericho has been played out already. Its causing wrestlers to be overrated = getting more cred than they actually deserve.

Haven’t ever understood the thought that Austin “stole” Sandman’s gimmick—as if it was just a more pushed version of The Sandman on a bigger scale. The beer drinking piece is there, but that’s only one piece of the puzzle. That really feels like the only significant similarity.

Stone Cold could actually work a match. Sandman could just swing around a kendo stick. Night and day in the ring.

Stone Cold could work the stick, Sandman not so much.

Stone Cold was calculated and cerebral violence. Sandman came off as a reckless drunk and not put together.

Stone Cold kept himself sharp and in great shape. You knew he was ready to roll. Sandman had a beer gut and got gassed after arriving to the ring.

Stone Cold largely drank beers in celebration. Sandman drank them before the match.

Even Steve will give a nod to Sandman and some influence with the beer drinking, but any comparison from a full character, persona, wrestler, etc is completely unfounded once looking through it.
