Way to pick the winners, bro!

Only saw the Isreal fight, then left the bar but he is very impressive. Excited to see him take on the next level up, see how he does. Only other fight I had moderate interest in was DC, based on what you guys have said and online etc, it went pretty much like I (and I suppose anyone with half a brain, based on the odds) expected. Watched the Jacare KO, lol @ Weidman lol @ Weidman fans. He be done, not fighting for anything significant again. I watched the Weidman/Gastelum fight repeat this past week, I mean Chris won, but neither fighter looked impressive in that one other than Chris doing some decent ground work for the finish.

Yes you better see Thst, sucka!

I was in to see them tho and pulling for them all

I feel bad about Weidman because while it was a great battle the mma community only will acknowledge he lost which is disgraceful

He deserve respect

Dc will pick Brock apart but I’m going to be cheering Brock bell to bell

Prime Silva would also beat the holy hell out of Michael Bisping.

That doesn't feel good to acknowledge this sh*t though does it?

LOL. Prime Silva wrecks pretty much everybody aside from prime Fedor and the giant heavyweights. I don't think Blessping himself would even disagree with you here. Never stopped the man from having an amazing fighting career and post fight career with the top podcast and reaching further heights. U mad brah?

In 20 years Silva and Blessping will be remembered fondly. Whineman won't even be remembered at all lol.

I don’t think that argument holds weight when Anderson was at the top of his reign at the time

I’m not an Anderson hater, either. He went up to lhw when that wasn’t much of a thing in the UFC yet. It’s not his fault that Hendo and Belfort were his best competition back then

Anderson Silva was 38 years old at the time and had been fighting professionally since 1997, not to mention the gym wars at chute boxe. There is no ****ing way he was still in his prime at that point and anybody who is honest with them self will agree. Not to mention he had a style that would never age well, being a striker who uses his speed and reflexes to clown opponents. Put 31 yr old Silva in there with Weidman and Chris gets his nose caved in.

Man Weidman looked fast and had great boxing in the fight with Jacare but somehow got baited into a brawl with him and Jacare went into zombie mode in the third round. Weidman also took that temple shot a few times even though I think he had really good striker defense.

I also think that Jacare was the stronger fighter of the two. You could see it when Weidman lost the clinch exchanges.

The brief grappling exchange at the end of round two was great.

I thought Weidman looked better than he has in a while. He was just afraid of getting a hard counter from Jacare after he backed him up.
