Panthers linebacker Shaq Thompson said his left knee appears sprained. He doesn't think it is bad.

Good. We need him for the Eagles.

Panthers getting a lot of love from national media. Was pretty funny to hear Rodney Harrison last night.

I really wish NFL was like the MLB when it comes to trades. This team is good, but they won't do sh*t in the playoffs with Olsen being our ONLY legitimate weapon. Would be amazing if we could acquire a good WR; no matter the cost…

Go snag Sammy Watkins or Jeremy Maclin for cheap? Would be nice. Torrey Smith maybe?

Feel the same way really.

It is a gaping hole that Cam and Olsen can only do so much to cover up.

Eh our front office wouldn't take him back.

What about Roddy White from ATL?

Heard he was looking to jump ship,

Is he even still a threat though?

That's what's going to happen. They won't make a trade. The only teams that would really consider a trade are teams already out of it and not in the NFCS. Can't be a young guy on a rookie deal most likely, either. It doesn't really leave many options.

Houston - no chance at Hopkins
Jacksonville - won't trade Hearns or Robinson
Titans - nope
Bills - won't trade Harvin or Watkins or Woods
Dolphins - maybe Stills but they're legitimately in the AFC WC race LOL
Bears - No Jeffery so who cares
Vikes - nobody
49ers - Smith? But doubt they'd consider it

Gonna be tough for any NFC team because ATL/CAR have easy as hell schedules and will likely take one of the spots and GB is gonna own people. Haven't watched the Vikes at all so just threw them in there.

He's been pretty good lately. Gives them a lot of versatility with those 3 LBs. I hated the pick (though I hated trading up for Funchess more) but I was wrong. He's a solid pick up that will only get better.

We were damn close to getting him one ten years ago though. (Fuk you John Kasay)

Yeah it really irks me how we have this void on offense from KB being gone.

Glad to see you're coming around on him, I was pretty high on him pre-draft. Certainly should be giving you tons of flexibility.

And yeah, gonna be extremely hard to snag a WC spot in the NFC this year. Luckily the NFCW kind of looks like chit so far..

Gettleman is amazing at finding talent in UDFA/late rounders, I'm confident he'll come up with something this season, and definitely during the offseason if not.

Funchess came in the clutch yesterday, finally made a catch. If we can get a fast burner in the slot and Funchess matures some we'll be golden next season. And upgrade our OL and give Boston more PT.

Honestly I think things would look a lot different if KB were around. You'd have him and Olsen drawing a ton of attention and make things a lot easier for the other WR. I'd be unhappy if they gave up a juicy pick for a short term WR. Long term they're building the team right so let's keep that going.

Kalil is the #1 center in the NFL by a large margin

True, Ginn isn't meant to be a #1 receiver, he never was with us back when we had Smitty. But he consistently burns corners so having him + KB + olsen would be god tier. In gettleman I trust.

Not sure if aware, but last year after a tough loss some vikings fans were heckling the **** out of his brother (Matt Kalil, MN LT) who had a real rough year last year.
