I don't think the pressure will get too bad because there just isn't much national media around the Panthers.

People already saying our record doesn't matter cause "blah blah first game out" we still got something to prove and people are taking notice now. Either way, I wanna see a rendition of the 1972 dolphins so bad

This was easily the best victory of the year. Better than the Colts/Packers/Seacocks/Dallas/Whatever. There is no measuring how much the Saints wanted to win this over anyone. In a league like this where the teams are so close and any given Sunday is in effect, there was no telling what the result to this would be.

Cam Newton is leading this offense within a few tenths of being the highest scoring offense in the NFL with absolute trash around him (Minus Olsen).

The Panthers defense is proven to be good, not great. Cam has bailed out the defense just as much if not more than the defense has bailed Cam out.

That is all. GG. On to next week.

The Panthers haters have officially come out of the woodwork.

So much salt. I think we are beatable. Just hasn't happened yet. Either the D bails us out, or Cam does. If both are on their game. Blowout city.

Not gonna lie, before this season, I really didn't care for Cam because of his pouting. He's done pretty good with his attitude and playing this season, kind of hard to pout when you don't lose though.

He pouts cause he loses. He hates losing. I never understood the hate for the "He just puts on his towel and pouts when he loses" reason. When he wins he puts on his towel and smiles. Win or lose hes great for the community here. He just takes everything to heart and personally, and as a fan, thats the kind of person you want leading your team.

Win or lose, he still comes to the next game with the excitement of a kid, and imo thats refreshing.

Ginn could be one of the top receivers in the league if he could catch. I'm scared he's gonna cost us the game with one of these gimme touchdowns he been dropping.

Every sunday this season I've been telling myself that I wouldn't be surprised if they lost, and it wouldn't matter since we have a perfect record. But man they keep winning it's so fuking amazing to see Cam play like he does. Throwing darts and almost no picks. He's thrown what, 1 pick in the last 3 games ? That's wayyy better than last year.

People saying save Tillman for the playoffs, but I wouldn't want him to be rusty. Would definitely put him back in if he's ready before the playoffs. Even if it's just for a little bit

I think it's more they're giving him extra time off to make sure he's right. I bet he's bcak this week or next.

Bene has been good considering the fact teams target him more than any other DB on our team. Finnegan and Jones are getting torched playing nickle

I can't post in Panthers threads anymore other than this and game threads.

Haters are now resorting to nothing but hypotheticals.

In a league where anyone can win any given Sunday, hypotheticals are a wonderful argument, but we've won in every way imaginable: Close games, blowouts, blown 4th quarter leads, comebacks, on the road, game winning drives, against good teams, bad teams, divisional rivals, conference rivals.

There isn't a negative thing they can say about this team that cannot be backed up with some level of saltiness.

I've mostly just been trolling the anti-Panthers posts at this point. Most of them are just troll posts anyways. I wouldn't try to engage them, they're either trolling or have made up their minds and wont change it.

Philly beat NE
Arizona lost to the Rams and Ben-less Steelers
Carolina beat the Hawks in their own house

We've got the MVP, the best point differential in football, a defense that can stop the pass, and WR who get open (but drop it).

tfw grew up in NC/VA as a Panthers fan, but moved to Tampa in 02' and became a Bucs fan, and refuse to switch teams in fear of being called a bandwagon fan.

I'm still secretly pulling for Carolina to pull off the perfect season tho.

In the meantime I guess i'll keep watching 02' Bucs highlights on youtube lulz.

If we go all the way I'll be bumping threads like there's no tommorow.

How you guys feeling about the Giants?

I feel Norman will do Norman things with Odell with safety help. They don't really have another threat at receiver.

And Ginn is one of the best deep threats in the game now, finally gonna start commanding attention from 2 defenders which will help our offense even more. People are starting to recognize that speed
