Eh Watt is the best defensive player on the planet; no issues whatsoever with him winning.

Norman was great this season but I think Beckham getting the TD on him lost his DPOY bid. That's when the Norman hype really died down.

Time to Panther up bitches! I love how this city is all Panthers right now. even my Gold's Gym was showing support on their sign this morning, and the owner is a die-hard Steelers fan

all things Carolina today. wore my Cam shirt and Panthers hat to the gym this morning. had some Cookout post gym and listening to a playlist I made of songs Panthers related.

I was confident the NFC was going to win the Bowl a couple of weeks ago, and now I am second guessing. The Panthers are the better team. I am worried about Thomas Davis. He is way underrated, and we need him to have a good game.

Guys I AM SO PUMPED !!!! Started to follow the Panthers 3 years ago out of nowhere. I thought Cam was a cool dude back then and I always liked his personality on and off the field. I think the pro sports need more athletes like him, with that 'I don't give a fuk' attitude. Last year was a mess and I lost all hopes when we lost KB and next thing I know we are in the Super Bowl !

They can't lose this one. There's no way they lose with the confidence they have right now.

Don't even know what to say. When you get that many opportunities and find a way to flub it every single time then you deserve to lose. A great season overall but I'm pretty damn ashamed of how tonights game went. It's just so depressing because who knows when/if they will get there again before losing people to FA.

Feel so bad for Jared Allen & Charles Tillman for possibly ending their careers without a Superbowl win.
Cam, Kuechly, Norman, Short, Star, Ealy, Shaq, etc. are young and should definitely be back in the Superbowl very soon.

Just wasn't our day.

No one could hang on to the ball. Cam dropped it two or three times, Tolbert and his fumbles. Receivers couldn't catch and we dropped interceptions. Remmers was left to fend off Miller one on one all game and the refs didn't help with a few WTF calls.

With that said, we were still in it pretty much right up until the end. We had our chances, we just couldn't capitalize.

Inb4 Curry avenges our loss the rest of the season.

Dan Marino went to a SB in his second season and never went back

Hopefully that doesn't happen to Cam and company

this

so much has to happen for a team to make it to the SB.

I mean sh*t brahs. Belichick is a fukking genius and he has the GOAT QB (Swept I know our opinions differ here but the simple fact remains - Brady is a top tier QB and has been for well over a decade) and they still only have 6 SB's in 15 seasons as a starter. And that's an absolute BEST case scenario.

Look at how bright the future looked in 2003. I was young so I don't know the specifics but I do know looking at the roster that they had a ton of young talent at all the key positions. Ugh. This one stings guys.

Brady, Ben and Peyton have been in like 11 of last 12 SB. They have one thing in common they play in the chitty AFC

The NFC is a roller coaster, and its only getting better

Damn kind of disappointed to see Cam acting like a bitch in this interview. I know I can't fully appreciate how chitty they all must feel, and i know he probably doesn't care, but he really acted like a pouty little kid in that interview. Only going to fuel the haters.

Maybe I'm being petty but being a winner is also being able to be a man when you lose, to me at least.

And as much as Id like to believe that.
I know how hard that actually is……..

God damnit.

God damn I thought maybe I would feel better today but I actually feel worse. This was the year to win it and to choke so hard at the very end…sometimes I think it's kind of sad how emotionally invested I am in Carolina.

They just flat out choked. The Cotchery catch that was overturned was the turning point of the game IMO. And the Tolbert fumble…man I was so pissed.

Well at least the future is bright. The core will remain intact and we'll get KB back.

You are not wrong. Cam did not play as bad as most folks here indicate, but his post game actions could be a problem. He indirectly blamed teammates. They have the pieces to make it back to the playoffs next year, but a toxic lockeroom won't get it done. Hopefully he comes back with a bit more maturity.

My opinion has slightly changed after hearing he walked out because they were holding the Broncos presser like literally right next to them and he could hear the defense etc bragging and talking about how they shut them down. Of course Denver has every right to do just that….but pressers are usually on opposite sides of the field, not right next to each other.

Now that enough time has passed I feel like I can better react to the game

Not srs my jimmies are still obliterated. Can't believe we blew this game.

That said - aside from the SB hangover voodoo sh*t - we should be right back in the mix next year.

- Free agency shouldn't hit us too hard. Doesn't look like we will lose any key pieces.
- Picking 31st BLOWS but since we don't have any GLARING holes we should be able to pick up an impact guy.
- Division is still pretty weak. Jameis looks poised to be a very good QB but I still think that team is a year or two away from serious contention. New Orleans under Brees (same deal with Atlanta) is always a threat but we are far and away better than both so I think we run away with the NFC-S.

I don't follow poverty CFB so I know absolutely dick all regardiall draft prospects. Any stud TE's out there? I feel like I've said it a million times but I'd ****ing love a flashback to the Shockey/Olsen season and build an offense around Cam/K.B./Philly/Ginn/Olsen + another serious TE.
