does seem like a lot, but we're a superbowl contender and P was a huge weakness. A 4th rounder doesn't mean much in regards to chasing a ring, plus hes one of the best

Yeah Lechler was the best punter all time in his prime, that doesn't mean much now. Go look up Lee stats since he left SF, he's middle of the pack

Anyone else hate all these night games? I like to drink and cookout for the games but 1/3 of them are on fkn work nights. Other than that I'm very optimistic about this season. Obviously a much tougher schedule but I really don't see any serious contenders in the NFCS.

I'm still confident it will be a great season. Although, I thought the defense looked pretty vulnerable tonight. It was just a rough loss…I love that football is back but after watching that it makes you remember that football can ruin your god damn night as well.

And our play calling is terrible, run, run, pass

I am so pleased with Cam's press interview. He has come a long way and is so polished now. Awesome to see. The media tried baiting him over and over. Even trying to give him a memory test over the hits to the head he took….

A little disappointed by the loss but it's the first game of the year so I'm not upset. I was impressed by the hit power our secondary has. At multiple times I thought the Broncos receivers would drop the pass but they held onto the ball which was quite impressive imo. Bradberry did a great job covering DT and not letting him gain yards after catch. The dude can tackle which is great.

What I didn't like is the playcalling in the second half. We had the momentum after the FG to end the half. Cam looked great and the passing game was clicking. They should've kept feeding KB and it might have opened some big play potential with Ginn. But that run run pass playcall in the third quarter killed us imo. They need to scale down the read option. 90% of the times it only leads to a 4/5 yards gain because there is no speed when Cam makes his decision to handoff or keep the ball.

Our LB corp is so fuking dominant. They made plays all over the field and Shaq is going to have a breakout season. Can't wait for week 2 !!

I often thought last year that KB getting hurt was the best thing to happen to the team. Cam didn't go through his reads last night. He basically ignored our number one receiver from last year the entire first half. IIRC Brown, Funchess, and Ginn all had just one reception each. Denver has a good secondary so it isn't all on Cam, but still… As good as our D is they just can't hold on to a lead. Our D line was suspect af. We have a lot to work on and I still think they are legit, just makes you mad af to see so many mistakes against a team they had beat.

This was a good opener. Offense looked good on the road against a f*ckin awesome defense. Cam looked decent in play. KB will be a stud if he doesn't get injured. Our defense hits HARD. While we have some holes to fill up, its obvious were going to get some turnovers.

Not worried about Gano. People miss game winners sometimes.
